Now that there is no denying that cold weather and the holidays are upon us, it is an ideal time to consider purchasing a home at the beach. Imagine sitting in front of a fire sipping hot beverages with friends and family while enjoying the smell and sounds of the ocean after spending the day boating, fishing and enjoying the beach. That is how we live all the time here. Beach homes are an idyllic place to create family memories and a great source of income as short/long term rentals as well.
Although the market appeared to shift towards sellers over the Summer months (due to limited inventory and low rates), it is moving in favor of buyers again as it normally does in the off months. As the market slows down until Spring, sellers who continue to market their properties are more apt to negotiate and exhibit motivation to reach a deal.
