Terminal Groins – Senator Bill Rabon’s (R-Brunswick) Senate Bill 151 was passed and will, among other things, allow for an unlimited number of terminal groins along the coast and remove various permitting requirements from a 2011 law that allows up to four of the hardened structures designed to trap sand and prevent shoreline erosion near inlets.
